This one’s for Garrett and Lindsey

Last winter our friends, Garrett and Lindsey, traveled from Michigan to visit us. We toured Alcatraz, Monterey, Sausalito, and had fun just hanging out together. It’s hard to believe it has almost been a year since they visited. Before they left, they gave us a gift certificate to the Cliff house pictured below.
Over Christmas break, Harry and I drove to this cozy little restaurant for a fabulous dinner overlooking the ocean. I ordered lobster and Harry had the seafood pasta. Harry bet me I couldn’t finish my dinner. A veggie platter, lobster tail, and 5 pieces of garlic bread later, I won the bet. Or so I thought. Before I finished my last sip of water, the server delivered the bill. Harry decided he won. I don’t even know what my prize would have been. It was worth every piece of garlic bread, and more–even if I did lose his silly bet. I took the photo below on our way to the restaurant. I like the water sliding down the rock.

I had visions of sending Christmas cards of us this season, but you’ll have to settle for this one, my friends.

I took this picture last year. Pictured below: Harry, Garrett, and Linds. Harry isn’t 7 feet tall in real life. He’s on a hill here.

Lastly, here is the spectacular scene outside the Cliff House. Thanks for sending us to this beautiful place, Garrett and Lindsey! We miss you guys!

Mindy…we loved the photos, especially the one of Harry, in typical fashion! It’s funny, Garrett and I were just talking about that trip and how it was one of our favorites. Miss you guys too, hopefully we will be back soon. G & L

Nice looking couple ( and Harry too) and great pics! Wouldn’t mind eating lobster dinner at that cozy restaurant overlooking view of ocean…

WOWWWWW! Those photos are AMAZING!!!! You do an awesome job. I’d like some of those around the house and as a screen saver to day dream into when all that is around me is snow and 15 degree temperatures. I’m jealous!
