I stumbled on this website over Christmas break and I love it. Angie Warren, the founder, is celebrating her site’s one year anniversary by offering some amazing prizes to her readers. I entered Day One’s contest. My mission: take a self portrait holding the Creative Mama logo. I colored the logo with markers, and headed outside. I set my camera’s timer and dashed back and forth trying to get a decent shot, and yes, I got all kinds of weird looks from dog walkers. Luckily it started to get dark. Then it started to rain. My little logo turned into a watercolor piece of art, but it looks creative, right? It was worth it, friends! So ignore those gleaming red eyes of mine.
